International Children’s Picture Book Award is a biennial contest for unpublished children’s picture books across the globe held by Ehomebooks to acknowledge their significance and promote their creation worldwide. The second International Children’s Picture Book Award launched in 2022 will continue its mission by inspiring and encouraging international authors and illustrators to create picture books that children will love.
Themed “The World Is Your Oyster and Ours”, this year’s award aims at tapping into the source of creativity and imagination within each human being, as each picture book is a kingdom of endless possibilities for its creators to experiment and for its readers to experience in their own way.

The award welcomes submissions from authors and/or illustrators of all nationalities.
Every attempt to enrich and enhance children's literature is welcome and appreciated.
- Authors and illustrators of any nationalities can enter;
- Authors and illustrators must not be under 18 years of age;
- Members of the organizing board, members of the judging panel, and their relatives are not eligible.
- Submission(s) must be no more than 64 pages and no longer than 1000 words.
- Submission(s) should be intended for children aged up to 10 years old.
- No limit in the number of entries per person.
- Submission(s) must be in English.
- Submission(s) must be original. The organizer will not hold any responsibility if any dispute around copyrights arises.
- Submission(s) must not be published or in a contract with any publisher before the announcement of the award.
- A prize of $2,000 cash and a plaque;
- An extra $1000 to buy and donate books to a place of choice;
- A book publishing contract with Ehomebooks.

The official Entry Form must be attached with each submitted entry. Entries can be submitted either by the author or the illustrator. Submissions must be emailed to the ICPBA at awards@ehomebooks.vn
Your entry must include the following:
- An official entry form (Download Here);
- The full manuscript (typed in Time News Roman, double-spaced);
- The first eight illustrations (PDF);
- The full storyboard depicting your complete story (PDF).
